Scrubs or No Scrubs

My cousin just dropped by after a long time of not showing up. We use to see each other a lot but lately she has been quite busy with her studies. She is studying to become a nurse. We also do not go out as often as we use to because she has to save as much money so she can buy her study needs like books and nursing scrubs.
Her uniforms were not as expensive since we were already able to find scrubs for cheap but the books and laboratory stuff are quite pricey. It is quite sad that we do not get to spend as much time together but I guess she really needs to focus on her studies. I cannot wait for the semestral break so we can catch up. I wonder how she is doing and if she is having fun at all. Maybe, I will drop by her place one time and sleep over just so we can talk. Good thing her on the job training has not started yet. I think that will come after her third semester or so. By then, I think I will be seeing less and less of my dear cousin.
