Mitch Albom has created yet another inspiring story. The author of Tuesdays with Morrie has written another compelling novel about a mother’s love for her son. Who cannot relate to the story of Charles “Chick” Benetto - a son who loves his mother and at the same time turn his back on her at certain times?
Definitely an eye opener that we do not get a second chance on everything. That we have to value and show our affection to those we love. The story also shows us how deeply our mother’s love us and the lengths she will go just to protect us and make us happy.
One of my most favorite part of the story is the part where Chick’s mom wrote him a note not realizing that Chick still don’t know how to read. It is a very touching note that ends with the line “I love you everyday”.
