Bloggers learned to write about various topics - from business, to sports to entertainment.  We can write something how to articles or just a general interest article like a new hotel in Dubai or places to visit in China.  Blogs also contain information like where to stay in Manila or HUD apartment for rent.

Whatever you write about, what’s important is that you write about something you believe in or something that you like, only then can it be fulfilling in spite of the low income days.

With all these thoughts in mind, I always try to prepare for the worse when planning my event. All details should be documented and all possible scenarios covered. Through the years, I have found that stanchions with velvet ropes and barricades are very helpful in having an organized audience traffic.

Some of my more techie friends though recommends Lenovo Thinkpad or an IBM laptop.

Well, I guess, I can stop with this three shortlisted laptop and brand. Now, all I need to think about will be my budget. How much can I spend on a laptop again and how soon can I produce that money. I guess, I have to work a bit extra in the next couple of days and start saving every penny that I can so I can buy whichever laptop I choose.

Some of my friends who were also affected also got their own insurance.  Those who have lost their cars due to the flood even asked for new auto insurance quotes.  The flood have done a great damage to their cars that they are almost beyond repairs.  Some of their car insurances do not include “Acts of God” so they had to shell out a lot of cash just to get their cars fixed so this time, they are making sure to include that.

I know that nothing is certain but I think the best way to deal with uncertainty is by trying to get yourself covered as much as possible.  Find ways to be certain in as many things possible.  Once that is done, you won’t easily be shaken and somehow, you feel secured no matter what happens.

Even when you’re shopping for the sake of shopping or to feel better or to reward yourself, you have to consider some important things.

First is the style of the clothes you will buy.  Does it fit your lifestyle?  How often can you wear it?  Will the style be outdated after a few months or so?   If you are work in an office, it will be ideal to buy clothes that you can wear in the office and with just a bit of accessorizing, can also be work when you go out for a night out.  Nobody can go wrong with a pair of black, white or gray skirts or slacks, matched with a neutral colored long or short-sleeves button down shirt.  Wear it with a jacket in the morning, then fold it here and there, match with some accessories and you’re out on a date.  Neutral is always best when you don’t have much money to spend on various clothes.  Just mix and match a bit and add some accessories to add spice.

Finding clothes that perfectly fit is also very important.  You would not want other people to wonder if you just borrowed it from someone, especially when you’re on a date.

Well, another important thing is to know the right clothes to wear at the right occasion and the right season. It does not matter how much you spent on your outfit if you are not wearing them properly.  You also would not want to catch cold by wearing summer clothes on winter.  You would not want to be the center of attention wearing a black dress on a pool party.

So next time you go on a retail therapy or decide to reward yourself, make sure to consider those things I mentioned and you will not regret that you have spent your money over something you do not want to wear or use anyway.

One of the most common fashion disaster is wearing the right clothes with shoes that does not match.  It really makes a lot of difference to match your outfit with the right shoes.  Imagine wearing a chic black dress with a rubber shoes?  Well, that can be a rather exaggerated statement but I am only stating it so you can visualize how it can really destroy your look.  Wearing shoes that fit also matters, you would not want people thinking that you just borrowed them from your mother or your baby sister.  Aside from that, it is very uncomfortable to wear shoes that aren’t your size.  Comfort is also a big factor, yet sometimes you can compromise this for aesthetics.  I am never comfortable wearing stilettos but sometimes I have to wear one, I just make sure that I don’t walk or stand too much.

Accessories like necklaces, earings, bracelets, scarves, watches, gloves, bags and a lot of other stuff can also make a lot of difference.  It’s like putting icing on your cake.  It makes it look more delicious.

Fashion trends may change depending on the season and other factors, but you can always create that classic look that shows your own style and personality.  For me, I love wearing jeans and plain shirts, I just add something extra depending on my mood and the occasion.  I add accessories when I am feeling extra chic, wear rubber shoes when I feel a bit sporty.  Of course, the classic black dress always work for formal dinners.  In any case, it is always important to be yourself.

I’m sure that this vacation is going to be memorable, just like my New Zealand vacation last year and Indonesia vacation two years ago. I have a wonderful view in my Auckland hotel room, as well as with my Indonesia hotel and the one that I booked in Prague says that it also have a wonderful view. The view in my hotel room makes me feel that I’m really in a vacation even before I sleep.
