One thing I found out during one of my researches is that it is necessary to keep my car maintained at all times to keep it in a good running condition.  This is something I really aim to do.  I want to have my break fluid replaced and flushed as often as needed, same as the oil and filters.  Valve adjustment is also quite necessary.

Well, for now, I guess I will be driving my Honda for a while without much worry about stopping midway to my destination.  I will check on the cost of maintenance and do some budgeting to make sure I keep my car well maintained.

So, I just went home immediately to pack my bags and head on to good old Dallas.  Excited to  spend a few days there.  I will be staying near the Cedar Hill Park so I guess, I can do my morning jogging there. A different view and different scenery definitely thrills me.

Her uniforms were not as expensive since we were already able to find scrubs for cheap but the books and laboratory stuff are quite pricey.  It is quite sad that we do not get to spend as much time together but I guess she really needs to focus on her studies.  I cannot wait for the semestral break so we can catch up.  I wonder how she is doing and if she is having fun at all.  Maybe, I will drop by her place one time and sleep over just so we can talk.  Good thing her on the job training has not started yet.  I think that will come after her third semester or so.  By then, I think I will be seeing less and less of my dear cousin.

Last year, I actually told myself that I will try to shop earlier this time.  Yet, with a busier schedule this time, I still was not able to buy the gifts earlier that I had to go shopping for it at the last minute.  It was a good thing that M&S and almost all the other malls offer gift suggestions for all kinds of budget.  I end up buying what they suggested - mostly food like brownies, cookies, food for the gods, butterscotch.  How I want to bring home everything and eat them, but I guess that is a different story.  There was even a time when I had to buy the gifts just before I entered the restaurant where I will be meeting with my friends.

It was a generally happy holiday.  A week away from work definitely suite me and good thing  I only gained about 2lbs in spite of all the parties and pig out moments I had.

She is already on her third year in nursing school which is probably the most expensive year so far so we really had to be creative and find supplies on discount.  Our feet were already aching but we really have to find the cheapest but quality items.  It is a relief to find cheap uniforms and other discounted items when we went around the mall.  Most items are only at 10% discount but some are at 50% which really made us ecstatic.

After 9 years of service, I am now thinking of buying a bigger car for me and my family.  My Honda Civic is my first car and I am actually having second thoughts  on whether I should trade it in or just keep it and save it as my second car.  An SUV has become necessary because of the group trips that my family seem to enjoy doing nowadays and having a bigger car seem more practical so we do not have to drive separately.  Yet, I cannot seem to let go of my car which had been my partner for a number of years now.  Maybe, if I can find a good car plan, I would surely keep it.

Bloggers learned to write about various topics - from business, to sports to entertainment.  We can write something how to articles or just a general interest article like a new hotel in Dubai or places to visit in China.  Blogs also contain information like where to stay in Manila or HUD apartment for rent.

Whatever you write about, what’s important is that you write about something you believe in or something that you like, only then can it be fulfilling in spite of the low income days.

With all these thoughts in mind, I always try to prepare for the worse when planning my event. All details should be documented and all possible scenarios covered. Through the years, I have found that stanchions with velvet ropes and barricades are very helpful in having an organized audience traffic.

Once security and crowd control measures had been set, I can already have some peace of mind. Events management success depends on the audience experience. If they have experienced something negative from the entrance points, then they might carry that experience towards the end of the show. Thus when you plan an event, you must start your plan from the entrance, this covers the sending of the invites, towards the end of the show.
