Oatmeal. This food is rich in fiber making it slow to digest so you feel full for a long time. The insoluble fiber in oatmeal has cancer-fighting peoperties that fights certain bile acids, reducing their toxicity. It also fights LDL cholesterol which is bad a type of bad cholesterol and helps prevent develping heart diseases. Oatmeal is also a good source of Vitamin E, zinc, selenium, copper, iron, manganese, magnesium and protein.
Fish and shellfish. Dieters who eat shellfish or fish a day lose 22% more weight than those who get the same amount of calories but don’t eat fish or shellfish. Fish and shellfish contains Omega 3 and fatty acids which fights cholesterol. It also stimulates your metabolism that helps you use more calories. Two or more servings of fish and shellfish per week decreases your risk of heart disease by 30%.
Spinach, lettuce and greens. This food group has a highly concentrated amount of vitamins and antioxidants that protects you from heart disease, cancer, cataract and memory loss. Greens are low calorie sources of fiber that blocks 90% of the absorption of calories per day.
