I have always wanted to buy Rugs for my apartment. My crib now looks a bit dull and boring and I believe that rugs can definitely help liven up the space and make it look cozy. Area rugs are ideal for the type of space I have. Area Rugs are not just small carpets, they make great accents, draw attention and define a space. With all the new designs and options, it is definitely hard to choose at times.
Oriental Rugs are among the more popular choices. However, for some people, using oriental rugs can sound a bit boring, dull or old fashioned. Oriental rug designs usually depicts oriental exotic, dreams, hot Arabic nights and European interior designing traditions. It somehow feels like you are in a magic carpet, singing A Whole New World like princess Jasmin and Alladin. It gives that magical or mystical feel in your space. Yet, before you decide on getting an oriental rug, the question is: Will it fit the rest of your interiors? Will the colors and the design match your furniture? Will it be an accent or will it be too different that it becomes distracting?
There are various factors that we need to consider when buying rugs. First, will be the color. Rug color should match the floor and wall color. Another will be the size and shape. Choose one that perfectly fit your room. When buying, try to visualize how your room will look when you put the rug in place. And lastly and perhaps the most important, the price. There are rugs that you can buy on sale if you don’t have a lot of budget. These discounted rugs are also of high quality and are definitely friendly on the pocket. If you have more budget, then you can choose from all types of rugs available and perhaps, buy several rugs and try to fit them into your space.
