The vacuum cleaner is an essential cleaning equipment, especially for homes and building with carpeted floors. This device collects dirt through a filtering system or a cyclone for later disposal. It uses an air pump to create a partial vacuum to suck up dust and dirt from your floors, your upholstered furniture, and other areas in your home. Vacuum cleaners has different configurations. There are upright vacuum cleaners, canisters, wet vacs, back-pack vacs, built-in or central, robotic, hand-held, and drum.
The most commonly used vacuums cleaners are the upright vacuum cleaners. It is the type with the pump mounted directly above the suction intake. The bag is mounted on the handle at about waist height. Upright vacuum cleaners can still be classified into single-motor upright and dual motor upright.
Vacuum cleaner prices range from around $20 up to a few thousand dollars depending on the size and configuration.
