Australia is divided into seven (7) regions: 1. New South Wales; 2. Nothern Territory; 3. Queensland; 4. South Australia; 5. Tasmania; 6. Victoria, and; 8. Western Australia.    Its population of over 21 million is concentrated in mainland state capitals: Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.   Most of Australia’s attractions and tourist destinations are also in these places.  Then, after your tour across Australia’s states and cities, you can stay at any of the Hotels in Perth, Hotels in Adelaide, and great selection of Melbourne Accommodation.

Perth is the capital city of Western Australia.  This city has a lot to offer to tourists.  If you are a water sports fanatic, you will surely have the time of your life boating, fishing, surfing, or just feasting on the great marine heritage.   Families can bond as they shop, go on a picnic and barbecue, or play golf.  One thing you should not miss is Perth International Arts Festival, held every summer.  The event features some of the world’s finest artists and performers.  It is definitely both a fun and learning experience for you and your family or friends.  The event consists of world-class theater, music, dance, literature and visual arts, and is the oldest international arts festival in Australia. Performers in the festival include jazz legend Pat Metheny, Welsh opera singer Bryn Terfel, soprano Elizabeth Connel, actress Sandra Bernhard, and artist Tracey Moffat. 

Adelaide, on the other hand is the capital city of South Australia and is another place that tourists should not miss.  Shopaholics can have a feast in the Rundle Mall.   Immerse yourself in South Australia’s culture by visiting museums like the South Australian Museum, Adelaide Botanic Garden and the National Wine Centre.  Fill your stomach with food from Adelaide’s over 700 restaurants, cafes and pubs.  You can also relax and unwind in Adelaide’s beach district. 

Another capital city that you should not dare to miss is Melbourne.  Melbourne is the capital city of Victoria.  This relatively modern city is over 200 years old.  It takes pride of the fascinating mix of architecture and has been voted as the world’s most liveable city.  It has luscious parks and village-like inner suburbs,  great selection of restaurants, boutiques and cafes, magnificent galleries and a lot more.
