Australia is divided into seven (7) regions: 1. New South Wales; 2. Nothern Territory; 3. Queensland; 4. South Australia; 5. Tasmania; 6. Victoria, and; 8. Western Australia. Its population of over 21 million is concentrated in mainland state capitals: Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. Most of Australia’s attractions and tourist destinations are also in these places. Perth is the capital city of Western Australia. This city has a lot to offer to tourists. Adelaide, on the other hand is the capital city of South Australia and is another place that tourists should not miss. Shopaholics can have a feast in the Rundle Mall. Fill your stomach with food from Adelaide’s over 700 restaurants, cafes and pubs. You can also relax and unwind in Adelaide’s beach district.
Another capital city that you should not dare to miss is Melbourne. Melbourne is the capital city of Victoria. This relatively modern city is over 200 years old. It takes pride of the fascinating mix of architecture and has been voted as the world’s most liveable city. It has luscious parks and village-like inner suburbs, great selection of restaurants, boutiques and cafes, magnificent galleries and a lot more.
